Visa and Document Support

We manage visas, paperwork, appointments, and all required government registrations for your stay in India (including Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO)).

What are the Visa Requirements

Visa requirements can feel confusing—especially when you are managing your first move to India or relocating employees internationally.

India offers several visa categories for different purposes: employment, business, study, research, and long-term residence. Each visa type has specific registration requirements with the FRRO (Foreigner Regional Registration Office). Everything Expats simplifies the process.

We help you understand which visa you need, prepare the right documents, and complete all required FRRO registrations on time.

What Is the FRRO and Why Does It Matter?

For most visas, FRRO registration must be submitted within 14 days of arrival into India, irrespective of the intended duration of stay.

The Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and Foreigner Registration Office (FRO) are government offices that handle:

Registration of foreign nationals in India

Visa extensions

Changes to visa status

Exit permits

Address changes on Residential Permits

Transfer of FRRO jurisdiction

Change of passport on RP

Change of entity on RP

FRRO deregistration

Visa conversion (in limited cases)

New born baby visa and RP

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC),

C Forms (hotel/guest house registration)

OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) related matters

Each major Indian city has an FRRO office. Smaller cities have FRO offices that report to the main FRRO office. Everything Expats guides you through this process with clear steps, document checklists, and complete support for online registration.
